This is a day to celebrate a precious life that has repented and successfully turned from the old ways  to a new way of life in Christ Jesus!

Each graduation ceremony is one of the most joyful highlights in the WIT Ministry and for the church family.  The graduation takes place at a worship service, where the graduate is acknowledged for her commitment to the Lord, is given an opportunity to share a testimonial, and receives both flowers and a graduation certificate. The graduate's family members are invited to attend with a time of rejoicing at a church reception following the service.

What is it like to spend nine months to 2 years in the WIT Home and Spiritual Rehabilitation Program? It can best be described as a "Sabbatical with Jesus!" One is saturated in Christ's love, God's Word, and Christian fellowship within a supportive, loving church family.

Required to work full time, every participant in the WIT Recovery program saves their funds in full until they are ready to rent their own apartment or home upon graduation. WIT Home Policies and procedures follow godly principles and lead to a healthy life style. The daily schedule is as follows:

Sunday: WIT Bible Fellowship Class, Worship Services in the morning and at night.

Monday:  Prayer Group and Life skills classes; Cooking, Anger Management and etc.  

Tuesday: Christian Twelve Step Recovery Classes.

Wednesday: Pastor's Prayer & Bible Study.

Thursday: Group Bible Study in the WIT Home with Director: Dee.

Friday: Christian Fellowship. Counseling and goal setting.

Saturday: Occasional week-end bus trips to Christian conferences. Seasonal Dinners & Barbecues.  

As a faith-based ministry, we recognize that follow-up for women in need come from programs that are centered on the power of God's love. The cry of women inmates is best expressed by Psalm 71:1-4

"In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame. Rescue me and deliver me in your righteousness; turn your ear to me and save me.  Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.  Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of evil and cruel men." 

Graduation marks a commencement for these women as they return to the community to live productive and purposeful lives.
